Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Klare processes personal data when you visit our website, join our waitlist, contact us, or use our analytics service when available. Processing is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable French data protection law.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The controller for website, waitlist, account and support data is:
- Legal name: CHAARAOUI ABDELAZIZ
- Trading name: Klare
- Legal form: Sole proprietorship (individual entrepreneur / micro-enterprise)
- Country of establishment: France
- SIREN: 927 465 666
- SIRET: 927 465 666 00026
- RCS: 927 465 666 R.C.S. Versailles
- Principal activity (NAF/APE 62.01Z): Computer programming

2. Waitlist and connected service
The current website lets you register interest in Klare. Joining the waitlist does not connect your TikTok or PostHog account. The integration sections below apply when you obtain access and explicitly connect those accounts.
3. Data we process
- Waitlist: your submitted email address, submission date and information associated with your request through Tally.
- Support: your contact details and messages.
- Technical data: request metadata, such as IP address, browser information and timestamps, where processed by hosting or form providers to deliver and secure their services.
- Accounts and connections, when available: account identifiers, email, authentication information, connected project identifiers and authorization credentials needed for permitted API access.
- TikTok: data available under your authorized API permissions, such as profile and post identifiers, publication dates, descriptions and available video or carousel performance metrics.
- PostHog: analytics events, timestamps, traffic sources, page information and event properties from your connected project. Depending on your configuration, these may contain visitor identifiers or other personal data.
- Derived analytics: calculated metrics, comparisons and estimates associating content performance with traffic patterns.
Only connect data you are entitled to share. Avoid sensitive personal data and unnecessary identifying event properties.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Manage the waitlist and send requested early access updates: consent (Article 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time.
- Provide accounts, authorized integrations and analytics: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Respond to enquiries: steps at your request before a contract or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, as applicable.
- Maintain security and investigate misuse: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), balanced against your rights.
- Meet legal requirements: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
Your email is required to join the waitlist. Without it, we cannot send an invitation. Waitlist consent does not cover unrelated marketing.
5. How connected data is used
A Python service performs mathematical and statistical operations on TikTok API and PostHog data to estimate which posts are associated with traffic to your SaaS. Correlation does not establish causation. Results depend on data quality and availability.
These insights support your business decisions. Klare does not use them to make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Your visitors’ data
For personal data from your PostHog project processed on your behalf, you remain the controller and Klare acts as a processor under documented instructions. You are responsible for lawful collection, required notices and consent where applicable. A data processing agreement and the relevant processing details must be in place before this processing begins. Visitors should normally address rights requests to the SaaS operator whose website they used; Klare will assist as required.
7. Providers and disclosures
We use Tally for waitlist submissions. Following the waitlist link takes you to Tally, where you can submit your email. TikTok and PostHog supply connected data under their terms and your permissions. Data may also be accessed by authorized personnel and infrastructure providers as necessary to operate the service, or disclosed when legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Hosting providers, processing locations and subprocessors for the connected service will be specified before that service processes customer data.
8. International transfers
Processing locations depend on the provider and configuration. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, applicable GDPR safeguards must be in place, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data.
9. Retention
Waitlist information is kept until you withdraw consent, the waitlist closes, or 12 months after registration, whichever comes first, unless you separately choose to continue receiving updates. Support information is kept as needed to resolve requests and related disputes. Technical logs are kept for operational and security needs.
Connected account and analytics data will be retained as needed to provide the service under the agreed processing terms and legal obligations. Credentials must be removed or invalidated when no longer needed. Specific retention and backup deletion periods will be provided before integrations are activated. You may request deletion at any time, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
10. Cookies
This landing page does not install analytics or advertising trackers. Tally may use technologies necessary to operate its form; consult its privacy information. Connecting a PostHog project to Klare is separate from tracking visitors on this marketing website. Consent will be requested before enabling non-essential trackers that require it.
11. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@klare.com to exercise your rights or leave the waitlist. We generally respond within one month, subject to permitted GDPR extensions. You may complain to the CNIL in France.
12. Security and updates
Access to personal data must be limited to authorized purposes and protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. We will update this page when processing changes and give additional notice where required.
